Damon Albarn's widely lauded animated band project returns March 9 with its new album, Plastic Beach. Gorillaz has been in limbo -- outside of live albums and compilations -- since 2005's fantastic Demon Days. And at one time, it seemed like a third record was never coming out. But that all changed last year when Albarn announced Plastic Beach, which is set to feature De La Soul (again), Mos Def (as an animated character), Bobby Womack, Kano, Little Dragon, and many others. The first leaked single, "Stylo," shows Albarn's back on his funk/dance-kick. One thing to remember, though, is that you cannot judge a Gorillaz album by its singles.
You can stream "Stylo" at 2DopeBoyz.
