Gorillaz Draw New Cartoon Band Member

Sometimes, when writing about Gorillaz, we here at Prefix feel like we're in the Toontown of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Because the band is presented to be comprised of cartoon characters, any time creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett get bored with the current lineup they can switch things around, as they have now done with the announcement of a new "member," the Evangelist.

This new character, who is depicted on the left, is the result of a contest started back in November, in which the band invited you, their fans, to draw and design him/her based on the simple backstory that the Evangelist is the mirror image of another Gorillaz character, the Boogieman. In essence, the Evangelist is the "flip-side" of the Boogie-man, the Day Man to his Night Man, if you will. S/he was designed by gorillaz.com user jirouta, who is surely the envy of all their friends right now.
