Although Damon Albarn's busy with his numerous other projects, he's still finding time to continue working on his main gig as frontman of the Gorillaz. He and Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett have teamed up with Converse to create four differently designed shoes that use imagery associated with the animated band. You can see one of the designs above, with the remaining three to be revealed when the kicks hit the market in February 2012.
Also, just as Converse was able to rally together Andrew W.K., Matt & Kim, and Soulja for an exclusive collaborative track, the shoe company will do the same with Gorillaz and two other acts. Hopefully details surrounding that portion of the project will shared soon.
