Go west Music Tapes, go west!

Julian Koster’s The Music Tapes are heading to the west coast this February and March, in support of 2008’s amazing Music Tapes for Clouds and Torandoes. Who knows, maybe the band will throw in a couple seasonal tracks from Koster’s The Singing Saw at Christmastime. Both are out on Merge Records right now. The Music Tapes will be joined by openers Nana Grizol and visual/musical artist Brian Dewan. The always-ticking 7 Foot Tall Metronome, Static the Television and other fleshy bandmates will bring the singing saws to the people. No word yet on any Jeff Mangum appearances but that’s just greedy people!
