Man, who doesn't Sub Pop have these days? When I was music editor for my college newspaper, Sub Pop would send out tongue-in-cheek press releases entitled "Sub Pop Domination Plan." But now it's not like they're not even joking anymore. Poneman, leave some acts for other labels, dude.
The latest signee to the storied indie label: Brit funsters the Go! Team. The band will release its next album, Proof of Youth, in the U.S. September 11 via Sub Pop. It will be the group's second set to arrive on these shores.
