Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly Try to Decide if Jay-Z is a "Good Guy" (Video)

Glenn Beck was on Bill O'Reilly's show on Friday, and amidst having a creepy and out of touch-off with each other, Beck presented O'Reilly with an autographed copy of Bill's own book signed by Jay-Z. O'Reilly and Beck then ponder for about 30 seconds whether Jay is a "good guy" (because rapping an anti-Bush song called "My President is Black" apparently makes you a monster in O'Reilly's eyes). Then they joke that neither of them know who Jay is and Beck displays his lack of self-realization when he says race doesn't work as a thing any more (whatever that means). Pot, introducing you to irrationally batshit crazy Kettle. [via NahRight]

Now they're planning the crime of the century
Well what will it be?
Read all about their schemes and adventuring
It's well worth the fee

So roll up and see
How they rape the universe
How they've gone from bad to worse

Who are these men of lust, greed, and glory?
Rip off the masks and let see
But that's not right - oh no, what's the story?
There's you and there's me

(That can't be right)

A few months ago I wrote on my blog that, being a tad crazy myself, I have the ability to pick up on the crazy vibe of others. Some people have a subtle, barely perceptible form of craziness - others have crazy to spare. Our boy Glenn is in the latter category. He likes to describe himself as the modern day equivalent of Howard Beale, the character played by the late actor Peter Finch in the 1976 film "Network". It's an apt comparison when you think about it:

HE'S MAD AS HELL!!

The first fact that struck me regarding the Beck biography was the day of his birth - February 10, 1964 - the day before his ideological soul mate, Sarah Palin, was born. Isn't that interesting! Just what the hell were they feeding those kids in the maternity wards of American hospitals forty-five years ago? Later on that same year, the GOP would nominate Barry "In your guts you know he's nuts" Goldwater as their standard bearer. Coincidence? I wonder....
