I've never seen one moment of Glee. That's not an indictment on the makers of Glee, or on people who watch it, but to me, it seems superfluous to waste my time on a show about high school kids singing in a club when shows like Sons of Anarchy, Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Friday Night Lights, The Killing, Mad Men, The Office, 30 Rock, Community, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and, christ, even The League exist. But maybe that's just me.
All I know about Glee is that every woman I know loves it, and they also murder the shit out of songs. Songs like Lykke Li's pretty good "I Follow Rivers," which is the latest song to get the atonal treatment from the Glee kids. It's above. Are we angry about this? Are we all going to boycott Glee now? Or do we love this?
