The idea of holding an in-store performance to celebrate an album release has become a tried-and-true means of promotions. But a nationwide in-store performance? That's next level-type-shit and it's exactly what Girls are doing to further push their latest album, Father, Son, Holy Ghost.
This Friday, Sept. 16, the band will live-stream their performance at Grimey's in Nashville, Tenn. on the web and at participating indie record stores across the U.S. So far, some of the stores who have jumped on board include Newbury Comics, Amoeba, Other Music, Waterloo, Criminal, and Luna.
To catch the performance, you can either go to one of the participating stores or chill at home and watch it on your computer at the Girls Facebook page. It kicks off at 5 p.m. CST on Friday.
