Girls Provide Soundtrack To Hardcore Gay Porn Film

You’ve got to hand it to Christopher Owen of San Francisco indie rockers Girls—the dude certainly knows how to drum up publicity. Aside from his bonkers back story, Owens has chiefly caught the limelight due to his NSFW music video for “Lust for Life” last year, even if it wasn’t the hardcore porn fest some were expecting.

Well, those people who were disappointed with “Lust for Life” are in luck, because Owens has taken the next natural step on the path to Girls’ evolution and soundtracked an actual porn film. “Darling” and “Solitude” by the band feature in the gay hardcore film I Want Your Love, which was directed by filmmaker Travis Matthews.

Needless to say, this link, which offers a preview of the film, is extremely NSFW, even if it does seem like a cut above most hardcore efforts, mainly because it looks like there is a plot/acting/dialogue involved. The title of the piece is taken from a song by the Chromatics, who are “one of several big cool-kid bands to jump aboard the project,” according to the website.
