'Tis a sad day for all those females who have so sorely missed Lilith Fair and therefore were excited to hear that Fiona Apple, Avril Lavigne, Sheryl Crow and others were uniting for a concert entitled Girlfrenzy. Said festival was set to go down October 27 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California. (Because what better place for it than a big, corporate-sponsored venue in the O.C.? Grrrl power!) But alas, all those frenzied females will have to wait. The festival's organizers have postponed Girlfrenzy, setting it back to an as yet to be determined date in 2008. Cry it out, girls, cry it out.
