New Yorkers and those of you in the surrounding area have another one-day festival to get excited about this summer. The Governors Ball Music Festival, which is being held June 18 on Governors Island, aims to be a dance party for the masses. And even though it has two stages, the promoters are promising no overlapping so you won't be a sad panda when you force yourself to choose one artist over another. While the full lineup isn't out yet, the folks behind the festival have announced that Pretty Lights will be headlining along with sets from Big Boi, Neon Indian, Girl Talk, Empire of the Sun, People Under the Stairs, and Outasight.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Thursday, Feb. 24.
