He promised it earlier this week, and now, it is upon us. Girl Talk’s Feed the Animals is available for download right now at Illegal Art’s website. Like the Radiohead model, you can choose to pay nothing at all for the album. But unlike the Radiohead version, Feed the Animals, comes in high-quality MP3’s. But if you are so inclined to pay, paying $5 will get you the album as one long track, as Gillis had apparently intended. Paying $10 will get all the above, plus the album in physical form in September.Early impressions: Well, I’m only two tracks deep as I write this, and I’ve already counted something like 20 samples (including Twisted Sister, Ludacris, Rod Stewart, “Nothing Compares 2 U,” Cool Kids, Lil Wayne, and Unk’s “Walk it Out.” The sample rate is higher than on Night Ripper; Feed the Animals has 300 samples in only 50 minutes.
