The Grammy nomination announcements seem to creep in every year, unlike the big buildup before Oscar nominations are announced. Maybe L.A. loves the movie biz more than the music biz.Today in the City of Angels, hip-hop-pop queen Mary J. Blige came out with the most nominations, eight in total. Keeping the love local, funk-rock elder statesmen Red Hot Chili Peppers got six nominations, including one for album of the year. Eight other artists followed with five nominations.
