
It's not even debatable that The Grateful Dead are one of music's most merchandised bands: Their stickers are ubiquitous, and their posters are in every 19-year-olds' first apartment. But, apparently, that's not enough: The group is ramping up its merchandising deals in 2012, with an "aggressive" plan for many products donned with The Grateful Dead logo, from luggage tags to mugs, a version of Monopoly to wine.
This, along, with planned movies--a Jerry Garcia biopic and an Across the Universe like movie featuring the Dead's music--will keep the Dead in your face for the foreseeable future. Read more at RS.
