The number one supporter of hair that looks like bits of thread, and funk, George Clinton has announced he and P-Funk will be hitting the road this month on a U.S. tour and will be releasing a covers album with the help of guests like Carlos Santana, Sly Stone, the RZA, and El Debarge (that’s right, this El DeBarge).
The album, titled George Clinton and Some Gangsters of Love (could there by a Steve Miller Band cover on the album?), is out in 9/16 on Shanachie.
