Gang of Four Offer Free EP
On Jan. 25, post-punk legends Gang of Four are scheduled to release Content, their first new album in 16 years, on Yep Roc. In the mean time, they're satiating us with a free teaser EP. Included are grinding new outtake "Sleeper," which singer Jon King describes as an "untidy story about living in a world of ersatz smiles and ersatz coffee"; a remix of Content track "I Party All the Time"; and a reworked version of Entertainment! classic "Glass." Guitarist Andy Gill calls the EP's version of "Glass" a "simple stripped-down thing that matched the ultra-minimalism of the words."
