I think everybody needs to read The Hodge's comment (February 4). I agree with The Hodge fully and would like to add on some of my views. Game, who dedicates a song to his mentor on his album, runs to do a record with his mentor's enemy. Now I really couldn't care less who has "beef" with who in what you call "Hip Hop", but is that not hypocrisy at it's best? It's like Mos Def said "what yall call beef is not beef at all". All these people on this remix still talk about how rich they are and how many women they sleep with (like HIV doesn't exist) anyway. What do you people who are "beefing" with each other over who's the better rapper gain? Nas says he doesn't do gimmicks and then goes and says Hip Hop is dead. Hypocrisy? You tell me. I wouldn't be surprised if all these rappers who had "beef" with each other met to celebrate the record sales that their "beef" has brought them. What I would like to see is a similar thing being done by the likes of Immortal Technique, Qwel, Copywrite, Masta Ace and more who actually deserve the title of Emcee.
