Game Gives 'The R.E.D. Album' A New Release Date: Aug. 23

Does anyone know just how many release dates Game's The R.E.D. Album has had over the past few years? It's starting to feel like this project and Jeezy's TM 103 are becoming the new versions of Dr. Dre's Detox., meaning who knows when the hell they will drop. But wait! It appears that Game has what he is calling a final release date for The R.E.D. Album.

He issued the following statement via his Twitter account:

“#alliwantis for my fans to know that the R.E.D. album will be in-stores AUGUST 23rd !!! Thanks for the continuous love & support. Just got off a conference call with Jimmy Iovine & @interscope . Aug 23rd is the release date & it’s like a FAT GIRL….. It won’t move !”

Haw haw, Game. You can crack all the jokes you want once the album actually drops on Aug. 23. Until then, see if you can come up with a single with a less obnoxious single than the one on "Red Nation."
