The Game charged with punching cousin at family funeral

It was a big week for The Game, his third album LAX was released on Tuesday and is expected to be at the top of the sales chart. It might also be a big week for him in a bad way since he's just been charged with punching his cousin at a funeral this past July. Then again, in recent years brushes with the law have often helped hip-hop album sales.

We've learned the Hawthorne City Attorney has charged The Game with criminal battery for allegedly punching a cousin at a family funeral. The tiff was over money, and the relative called the cops and made a citizen's arrest before the body was buried.

And it gets worse for Mr. Game. He's currently on probation for a firearms offense, and if he's convicted of battery a judge could violate that probation and throw his butt in the pokey. [TMZ]

get your story straight

i was at the funeral, and know his crackhead cousin kirky who started asking him for money as he was standing with his family shortly after the viewing of the body. kirky was a pallbearer and should have been in the church tending to his dead sisters body but was outside begging the game for money and he put his dukes up first. this is just a way to try and get undeserved money from the game. the other family members need to go to work like the game does, his money is earned, and he dont owe distant relatives nothing, kirky and his momma knew that the dead cousin was ill for 5 years, they should have had life insurance..................

How come everybody says LAX is the third album? Third major label album, yes. But it's like everyone acts like UNTOLD STORY or GAME or WEST COAST RESSURECTION were never released. I mean those are independent label albums, true. But they're not mixtapes. You even see them at like Bestbuy. Just saying?
