Crescent City funksters Galactic are currently recording their follow up to 2003's Ruckus. And get a load of who all the band is working with: The Coup's Boots Riley, Jurassic 5's Chali 2na, Mr. Lif, Lateef the Truth Speaker, Lyrics Born, Blackalicious' Gift of Gab, Digable Planets' Ladybug, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, and Mardi Gras Indian Big Chief Monk Boudreaux. Wow. The band is hoping to have the as-yet-untitled album ready for a late summer release.
