FYF Fest's Lineup Has Been Announced, Featuring The Strokes, Phoenix, Slowdive, Blood Brothers, And Others

LA's Sports Arena and Exposition Park will once again host FYF Fest (formerly Fuck Yeah Fest) this summer, on August 23 and 24. The lineup, which has just been announced, is looking especially stellar this year. The Strokes and Phoenix are going to headline, and other highlights include Slint, Blood Orange, Grimes, Flying Lotus, Darkside, Haim, recently-reunited Slowdive, and Seattle hardcore-punks the Blood Brothers, who will play together for the first time in seven years. Check out the flyer above for the full lineup.

The tickets for this Los Angeles summer staple will go on sale on May 22 at 12:00pm, and set times are to be posted the week of the festival. In the meantime, Slowdive perform their classic shoegaze anthem "Alison" back in 1994:
