Future of the Left plan new album
After rising from the ashes of McLusky, and releasing their brash debut last year, Future of the Left are ready for something new. The band announced plans to head into Monnow Valley studios soon to begin recording the follow-up to 2008's Curses. Though no tracklist has been set, there are a few new song titles floating around. "You Need Satan More Than He Needs You," "Arming Eritrea," "Land of My Formers," "A Rocket for Richard Roma," and "The Knife That is Not a Knife" could all end up on the new record. The band hopes to finish the disc in time for a June release from 4AD. And since Andy Falkous is claiming that Future of the Left is "the happiest, most inspired band that I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of," chances are they'll be working hard to hit that goal.
