Fujiya & Miyagi To Drop ‘Ventriloquizzing’ In January

Electro-rockers Fujiya & Miyagi have remained relatively quiet since dropping their sophomore release, Lightbulbs. However, for all those in hopes of some more mid-tempo, disco-infused rock, the group has announced that a new LP, Ventriloquizzing, will drop on Jan. 25 just in time for your holiday hangover. The cringe-inducing titled album will reportedly be a much darker and moodier affair than their previous efforts and will include the first time the band has worked with producer Thomas Monahan (Devendra Banhart, The Silver Jews, Vetiver). Judging from the “Sixteen Shades of Blue” recently featured here on Prefix, the “moodier” LP will still have enough life to keep your butt-shaking.
