Fugazi's Digitized Live Archive Almost Ready

Hope this means the guys in Fugazi have a retirement plan: Guy Picciotto told the band's fan site that he and the guys have been working on digiitzing their massive live archive. "We are not that far away from being able to set up our own website where ultimately almost every show we ever played will be available for download," Picciotto said. He speculated that the first set of recordings would appear in late 2010 or early 2011. Details will be announced on the Dischord site when they become available.

No word on whether the downloads would be available for free, let alone any new words on the future of the band's recording and touring career. That said, considering all those $5-ish shows, a couple bones here and there wouldn't be a terrible way to say, "Thanks."
