If you’re in New York City and have got a lot of time to kill, Ontario punks Fucked Up have got the perfect solution for you. The recent NME cover stars are staging a 12-hour show in the unlikely surroundings of an upscale eco-friendly fashion store named Rogan. The show takes place on October 14 and will run from 2PM until 2AM. Admission is free, and early attendees can snag a free 7-inch single by the band.
Fucked Up’s notoriously confrontational stage show may be a little draining over a 12-hour period, so they’ve enlisted a few special guests to help them out. According to this post on Matablog, you can expect to see appearances from Vivian Girls, Mobb Deep, Michael Gira, John Cale, David Cross, and a whole host of others. It’s probably a good idea to not take the guest list too seriously, although a chance to see the Edge jamming with Fucked Up and Mobb Deep would be too good to miss.

Also, NME isn't the only magazine to feature Pink Eyes on its cover recently: http://tinyurl.com/3t4ggl
Has NME called them "the next big thing" yet? They put that label on about 75% of bands. Throw in an extra 5% for British lads.
Twelve hours of this band = yes, please.
