Fucked Up Collect Rare Singles on Couple Tracks, Prepare For Epic Brooklyn Show

Fucked Up has long any transcended any easy categorization into a specific genre, and their continuous evolution has been maddening for fans to follow given the band's penchant for releasing 7-inches on labels all over the world. Fret not, gentle consumer, for Matador has heard the laments and will be releasing Couple Tracks on Jan. 26. The double album will be available as a two disc vinyl set (with an enclosed mp3 coupon) or in CD format. The twenty-five songs run from "No Pasaran" (please insert your own acute accent), Fucked Up's first single, to "No Epiphany," the band's latest effort. And for those who favor longer form work, Fucked Up will play The Chemistry of Common Life in its entirety on Nov. 5 at Brooklyn's Masonic Temple. The show will supposedly feature every instrumental track on the album. The band will be backed up Katie Stelmanis, The Vivian Girls, and the omnipresent Andrew W.K. Tickets for what promises to be an epic evening are available here. [Matador]
