To my great delight, Prefix is now posting two Fucked Up stories on one day. Their name may no longer be edgy, but that hasn't stopped the band from releasing an EP on July. Year of the Pig will be relesed worldwide on July 22, in a joint venture between Matador and What's Your Rupture, the EP is an expansion of the single released earlier this year, with the title track clocking in at a lean 18 minutes. In addition to the B-side, there are three edits of the title track and three unreleased song. One of each will be published on three 7" records to be released in the U.S., the U.K., and Japan, leaving the full appreciation of Fucked Up's first extended work since the fantastic 2007 LP Hidden World to the nerdiest of the nerdy Fucked Up fans.
