Those who get their kicks from listening to peppy, spirited indie-rock will be happy to hear the news that a new album is on the way from the French Kicks. Entitled Swimming, the album will be the band's second for Vagrant Records. It will be out digitally on April 1, with a physical release following on May 20. Swimming was produced and mixed entirely by the band alone. The French Kicks will support the album with some touring in April and May. The gigs include what almost amounts to a month's residency at New York City's Mercury Lounge, as the band will appear there April 1, 8, and 15.
