Freeway gets his own credit card

(Via: The Rap Up)
This was always the next step, but that doesn't make it any less of a shock. And you certainly didn't see it coming from this direction.
Freeway, an emcee probably best known outside of hip-hop circles for his turn on Kanye's "Two Words," now has his own Mastercard. All we can infer from this is that 'Ye and Jay-Z must be kicking themselves for not thinking of this first.
It's a prepaid card, which means you have to put money upfront into an account for it (we're pretty sure that's what it means...we're too lazy to look it up), so Freeway is at least concerned about the nearly $1 trillion in credit card debt Americans have racked up.
Freeway is not yet a household name -- although the site does say he's a "world renownd" rapper -- but maybe this will do it. Think of him the next time you buy a sandwich at Subway.

i dont understand how freeway can get his own mastercard, i mean tha guy hasn't really done **** in hip hop. Roc-a-fella is pretty much done, besides the fact that jay z is keeping it from going down into the pits of hell, and freeway's career as a mainstream mc, never took off substantially, wtf????
