Free Talib Kweli/Madlib album 'Liberation'

While most people's ears perk up when they hear "free" I immediately translate that to mean garabage, doo-doo or junk. Now when I read new Talib Kweli & Madlib album and the word "free", I thought there must be a catch. Luckily, my instincts were wrong and we can now begin 2007 with the collaborative album Liberation from Kweli & Madlib.

Thanks for the heads up. I downloaded it and have already listened to it about 3 times (thank goodness for short albums) and I love it. I've been a fan of Kweli's for a very long time and i thought he was stuck in a creative rut for the past couple of years. It looks like Madlib's beats have given him a shot in the ass. I hope Kweli and Madlib create more good music in the future.

this album is dope. some of the beats are off of madlib's "beat konducta", i think maybe its just one of them, and another sounded familiar. but its all good, especially with talib on it.

A few of the beats did sound very familiar, but it's a pretty dope record especially considering it was free. I appreciate it's only 9 tracks too.
