Orenda Fink, half of Azure Ray and signed to Saddle Creek, wrote an album in 2005 called Invisible Ones that addressed the depravity she witnessed in Haiti. Accordingly, she is offering the album free for download through January to raise support funds for earthquake survivors in the wake of Haiti's death toll, which exceeds 100,000. The album features a Haitian choir and the lyrics, "Weathered hands scrapped and colored/ With years of pain of the brokenhearted" -- especially wrenching, considering the catastrophe. Fink has written an appeal to donate and how to do so on the page with the download link, which is here.
