Freddie Gibbs' Debut EP, 'Str8 Killa,' Dropping Aug. 3

We have known for the better part of this year that Freddie Gibbs' Str8 Killa No Filla mixtape was eventually dropping this summer. But what we didn't know was that it will be followed by the MC's first official release. Apparently, the rapper, who calls Gary, Ind. home, signed to Decon Records, which will put out his proper debut, Str8 Killa. The EP will feature two exclusive tracks not heard on the mixtape and is scheduled out Aug. 3. The mixtape, however, will be offered for free and hosted on XXL's website July 29.

To coincide with this announcement, another track from Str8 Killa No Filla has hit the 'net. Unfortunately, the cut, "National Anthem (Fuck the World)," is covered in tags. But if you're still interested, you can download it here.
