Fred Durst made dumptrucks of money singing some of the most aggressively crass music ever to hit the airwaves, but he's over that now. In a recent interview, Durst said that he feels as though he's evolving. He says one indication is that the band's new album, Gold Cobra, is inspired by Daft Punk instead of things written on bathroom walls. He also declines when prompted to pick a fight with any other artists, which might show some personal growth, and talks about patching things up with Wes Borland and his new golf hobby. Kudos to Fred on his new lease on life, but before he pats himself on the back too hard, he might consider apologizing for bringing something like Chocolate Starfish And Hot Dog Flavored Water into the world. and for claiming he got the nookie when he so clearly did not get the nookie..
and the bait for the closet bizkit fans is laid, lets observe them comment in their natural habitat
I don't care if he claims to be channeling the spirit of John Lennon. He's still a douche.

As someone with diverse musical tastes, I'm excited for this release. In middle school I loved Limp Bizkit. It's not cerebral music, but who cares.
