Blackberry bitchslapping diva Foxy Brown told New York Metro that the Department of Corrections is trying to set her up by telling stories that she refused to board its buses that were to chauffer her to a court hearing. "We were ready and willing and dressed to go to court," Brown told the newspaper in a phone interview from Rikers. "Clearly it was very one-sided and a setup." She says published reports that she refused to board three Brooklyn-bound buses from the jail were fabricated. However, prosecutor Robert Isdith told reporters last week that Brown wanted additional time to change her clothes and put on makeup. Another official said she refused at least twice to get on the bus. She was scheduled to be arraigned last Friday on a charge that she smacked her neighbor with a Blackberry last July. Brown, who is currently serving a one-year term in the big house, declined to say exactly why she was unable to board the buses.
