In a bit of mathematical convergence, Four Tet is slated to release the four-track EP Ringer May 6 via Domino. Four Tet is of course the recording name of British electro-wizard Kieran Hebden. The songs on Ringer reportedly pull sounds equally from the DJ residencies Hebden has been doing of late and the free jazz-leaning collaborations he regularly has with drummer Steve Reid.
