Paul Morley at the Guardian spoke with Keiran Hebden, also known as Four Tet, about Hebden's view on the past decade. The DJ speaks extensively about the nature of music magazines and year- and decade-end lists, how he prefers individual critics lists to aggregated lists from websites or magazines, and the arc of his own career this decade.
Hebden points out a show from the Everything Ecstatic tour with Faust and Explosions in the Sky and his collaborations with Steve Reid as high points of his decade, and admits that it's still exciting to see his own albums in those lists. Check out the video here. [The Daily Swarm]
