Former Stone Roses Singer Ian Brown Arrested in London

Former Stone Roses singer Ian Brown has endured a rocky relationship with the law. In 1998, he threatened to cut off a stewardesses hands on a plane, causing him to be sentenced to four months in jail. Now, Brown has been arrested again, this time for a domestic incident at his home in London.

Neighbors of the singer alerted the police after a disturbance at their home yesterday (Nov. 2). “A 46-year-old man was arrested at the address and taken to a police station," a Scotland Yard spokesperson told U.K. tabloid the Mirror. Brown has subsequently been released on bail.

More details on the case are scant, but speculation is mounting that his wife, Fabiola Quiroz, told police officers that he attacked her. Brown currently has an album on release, the presciently titled My Way, which he claims was inspired by Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
