I was about to jump all over James Iha and D'Arcy Wretzky for hopping on the aging rock star lawsuit bandwagon, but alas, they're suing their label, and suing your record label is a-ok with us. And of course, when in doubt, blame Billy Corgan.
It seems Corgan entered into an agreement with Virgin records to license the Pumpkin's music electronically, without any of the rest of the bands consent, and neither Iha or Wretzky have seen one dime. Neither have had any contact with Corgan since he re-formed the band in 1999 without them, with Wretzky quitting the music business entirely and Iha working on various collaborations. Between this and dissing Frances Bean, Corgan doesn't have a whole lot of friends left these days.
