It was less than a week ago that some folks noticed that Forever 21 was selling a rip-off of Kurt Cobain's home-made Flipper shirt, but it's already been pulled from the store's website. The original shirt was worn by the Nirvana frontman during the band's performance on Saturday Night Live in 1992 and he apparently made it at home with just a plain white tee (no hey Delilah) and a marker.
No explanation has been given on why the shirt was for sale and why it was later pulled, but we're willing to bet that at least one employee caught wind of the hoopla surrounding the shirt. Rolling Stone reached out for a comment from Forever 21, but received no word from the fashion store chain. [The Daily Swarm]
