Force Of Nature Sharon Jones Meets Force Of Nature Eyjafjallajokull, Stranded In Europe
Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings missed scheduled appearances on National Public Radio and David Letterman after being stranded in Europe due to the eruption of Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull. The band traveled from Amsterdam to Dusseldorf to London looking for a way home, but instead ended up as part of a photo collage of stranded passengers and awesome explosion photos that appeared in The Washington Post.
