Forbes: Jay-Z Is The Richest Man In Hip-Hop

Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter made over an estimated $63 million last year, placing him easily atop Forbes’ list of the richest people in hip-hop. His total more than doubled that of  second-place holder, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

So, in case you don’t know how our American capitalistic economy works, Jay-Z is one of the “haves,” while you would be categorized as one of the “have-nots.” Cross “money” off of Hova’s list of 99 problems, which is honestly looking pretty good right now.

(Cue Robin Leach voice.) With Mr. Carter’s extravagant fortune, he could annually pay “a half-mil for bail” 126 times, could annually purchase 2.6 million Rocawear hats at $24 a pop, and could annually buy 315,000 floor seats to New Jersey Nets games. Not bad, Jay. Not bad at all.
