You know how on a hot day a horse can develop quite the drooling problem? Well the British music press and certain music blogs on this side of the Atlantic have definitely been salivating over the young U.K. rock act Foals as of late. And who wouldn't after getting a whiff of who helped the band craft its debut full-length, Antidotes? The record was produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, and features guest vocals by Celebration's Katrina Ford and horn work by members of Antibalas. Crowning this all in cool is the fact that Antidotes will be released by that bastion of indie-rock, Sub Pop, on April 8.
The band has already done some gig work in the U.S. this year. Currently touring in Europe, Foals will return to North America in late April.
