Foals and Holy Fuck releasing split single
Foals are currently winding up a North American tour that finishes at the Treasure Island Festival in San Francisco this Saturday. Frontman Yannis Philippakis has been making blog posts on the band’s MySpace page from the tour, and he reveals that a split single with Canadian noisemakers Holy Fuck is in the pipeline.

Philippakis also writes that the band has been watching The Karate Kid, listening to Can’s Tago Mago, and lamenting the fortunes of Britain’s ailing bee population. The split 12” single will find Foals covering “Super Inuit” and Holy Fuck cooking up a musical shitstorm on “Balloons.” Philippakis, who has voiced his dissatisfaction with the band’s debut album Antidotes, also plugs a new single from the album, “Olympic Airways.” [NME]
