Flying Lotus Records Podcast For Stones Throw

The folks at Stones Throw have apparently been talking with Flying Lotus for a while about having him put together a mix for their podcast series. But as the producer wrote on his Twitter account, it slipped his mind until about 10 days ago. It was then that he tweeted. "OH dang found this mix i made of all these records I found in the valley... Slipped my mind. I meant to put it out last year..my bad. on it."

FlyLo then mentioned that "It's just records and loops recorded to tape. Nothing fancy." and that it features "some shit you can sample on here. all you producer types." He then got to finalizing the mix, which is called Lovers Melt, and sent it over to Stones Throw for approval.

The label was clearly more than cool with it as they just uploaded the podcast to their iTunes account. You have to use iTunes to listen...well, until someone rips the audio and uploads it elsewhere. For now though, head here to download the Lovers Melt mix for free.
