As he frequently does, Flying Lotus recently leaked a few new tracks to his MySpace page. And they are very much in line with the minimalist hip-hop/dubstep/trip-hop/psychedelia heard on his critically lauded recent effort, Los Angeles. "Data Entry" sounds like a bad acid trip played backward, while "Lullaby" is a little warmer and welcoming, perhaps as a reference to its title. I don't think I'd play this for a kid around bedtime, though, unless I wanted the little guy dancing all over the place. And then there is another Lil' Wayne remix -- the producer previously made "A Milli" a gurgling burner. This time FlyLo takes on Weezy's ominous "I Feel Like Dying," transforming it into a swirling haze of noise. If only we had MP3s of these tracks (hint hint, FlyLo). [Pitchfork]
