It's been nearly two years* since Florence + The Machine made a sizable (read: pretty goddamn huge) splash with their great full-length debut, Lungs. In the meantime, they have released an extended version of Lungs along with a live album and two live EPs. But proper new material? Nope.
But that will change Nov. 7 when their currently untitled sophomore album hits shelves via Island. Unlike its predecessor that featured the input of several producers, this album only boasts help from Paul Epworth. He worked with Florence + The Machine on several notable Lungs cuts and also has produced for Adele and Bloc Party.
You can hear a new song, "What the Water Gave Me," performed live in the below video.
*I'm referring to the U.S. release date of Oct. 20, 2009.
