Flight of the Conchords' new songs will be available online the day after they appear on TV

Flight of the Conchords' second season premiere is this Sunday (January 18), and the group has announced that they will be releasing the new songs that appear on the show to iTunes the day after they appear on the show. The first single will be "Angels," and it will be available on January 19.


After the conclusion of season two, Flight of the Conchords' second album will be released on April 14, and will feature 10 tracks from this season, and five others. If you pre-order the album through Sub Pop, you'll get the 10 songs from the show once a week.


The band is planning to tour North America in April or May. [Billboard

I wasn't a big fan of "Angels" when they played it live in SF last spring. It sorta/kinda/maybe grew on me with the first episode. meh.
