Fleet Foxes Finish Recording Sophomore Album
Good news for fans of re-imagined Laurel Canyon Folk coming out of giant beards: Fleet Foxes have announced that they have finished recording their sophomore album, and are about to start mixing it. Frontman Robin Pecknold promises that we'll get news of a release date and the first single soon.
"Hey all, it's been a bit since a recording update. Well, recording is done! We are flying to New York tomorrow to mix and master the album and will have information about release date and when you'll get to hear a song or two SOON. Geologically soon but soon."
Of course soon could mean "early 2011" but still, new Fleet Foxes album soon, y'all. [P4K]
