The Thanksgiving weekend in the greater Los Angeles area didn't end without a little natural disaster drama, as yet another wildfire flared up in recently-scorched Malibu. Red Hot Chili Pepper's bassist Flea (real name Michael Balzary) was one of many who lost property to the blaze. According to Flea, his house in Corral Canyon "burned to a crisp." Sure, the location of the fire in Malibu means these aren't exactly destitute people losing what little they have (it appears this wasn't Flea's main residence). But for anyone, losing a domicile has to be a traumatic experience. Flea, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, loses home in Malibu fire (Los Angeles Times)
