Flaming Lips To Appear On Yo Gabba Gabba

Children's television program Yo Gabba Gabba is a jubilant explosion of bright colors and more than a little absurdity. It's made them the perfect spot for indie bands to communicate with kids, with groups like Les Savy Fav, Of Montreal, and Broken Social Scene collaborating with the group. With its visual bombasity and overall strangeness, it's a wonder that the show hasn't attracted The Flaming Lips before. Wayne Coyne will provide Nickelodeon with a match made in hipster heaven come Nov. 5, singing the song "I Can Be a Frog," which was penned by Yo Gabba Gabba's writers. The band has even been working the song into their normal setlist, meaning you don't have to have a toddler to be a frog. [Spinner]

I was hoping this would be for a arts and crafts, painting with blood segment. But I guess this is cool too...
